So there's this meme going around DA at the moment, so I thought I'd join in.

It's really interesting having a think about the various bits of visual media that influence my design style. There where lots of moments of 'Ooh, I remember that!' and discoveries of people that I didn't originally know about, but whose art has had a big impact upon me.

5 years since their last major release, the Gorrilaz are back with a new single leading up to the release of their album: 'Plastic Beach'.

Stylo was released on Monday and features Muscle Cars and a disgruntled Bruce Willis. It looks like Jamie Hewlett is heading in a new direction with his art and animation by moving his unique style to live-action footage of miniatures. I'm a big fan of Hewlett's, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what he can come up with.

Welcome to the newly refurbished version of Autumn Rain Studios. I'm quite happy with how the design has turned out and I'll keep it like this for a while now. There's still quite a few bits that need tweaking but at least it works for now. 

There are a number of improved features on the site, and I've also re-written the website from the ground up, so it should now be slightly more reliable.

Ursonography was a project from back in 2005 that mixed dynamic typography generated on the fly with a nonsense poem called Ursonate by Kurt Schwitters. The project was pioneeered by Jaap Blonk, ( the performer ) and Golan Levin, ( the software developer ).
